Huckleberry is my best oberhasli buck that I own currently.  He is the sire of the 2002 junior grand champion of the youth show at the Wisconsin state fair.  I have several of his daughters and a son of his that I use.  He produces kids that are very level over the top line and correct in the rear legs.  He produces kids that are dark bay in color with all the correct markings.

RCL ROCK TACOA

Date of birth; 2/25/01

                                            FDF-PLEASANT-FIELDS RHAPSODY

           NOSNORVIC R.D. DEPUTY MARSHALL

                                            NOSTALGIC INCO. PARSON DORELLE

                                  CH    THE LLL HUCKLEBERRY FINN

            RCL LITTLE HOUSE TACOA

                                            RCL LITTLE HOUSE RENATA

Rocky is my first registered oberhasli buck that I owned.  I also own his mother and a full sister and have had a full brother that was sold to somebody in Illinois to use for breeding.  His mother Tacoa was the reserve champion in the youth show at the 2003 state fair and was best doe in show at the 2002 Ozaukee county fair.  She is not a real long doe but she does have excellent depth of body and a tremendous mammary system.  She was my best milker for the milking competition this year at state fair.  I don't remember exactly but it was over six pounds and she had slowed down a little so I'm pretty sure that when she is heavy in milk she can easily be a little over a gallon a day milker.  I don't have many oberhasli kids from him since all the does I had bought were already breed and the next year I had Rum and Kalua to use so he has seen mostly action with grade and pygmy/pygora does.  The kids that I doe have though are put together well.  I also have a twin sister to him that I showed as a kid at our county fair.  His kids are mostly medium to light bays with the correct black markings.

UPONAHILL HT KALUA

Date of birth; 3/22/02

                                GCH    TONKA-TAILS COURT JESTER

        BODY-SHOPS BJ HUCKLEBERRY

                                            BODY-SHOPS BP BLACKBERRY PIE

                                            BODY-SHOPS SN BEAUJOLAIS

        UPONAHILL FB TEQUILA SUNRISE

                                            BODY-SHOPS KTT FAJITA

For Kalua I don't know a lot about his pedigree either but I have owned both his parents.  Huckleberry is the above mentioned buck and his mother Tequila was my best milking yearling to show in 2002 but unfortunately she died in spring from pregnancy toxemia.  He produces nice kids very similar in quality and they also have done fairly well in the show ring.  One of his doe kids won her age class both days at Rosholt and also placed well at state fair. His kids for the most part are dark to medium bays with the correct black markings.  I also have a buck out of him that I have kept to use on my does.
